It Would Happen to Me, Wouldn’t It?

Another piece of the moving in puzzle has dropped into place and I’m thrilled. I’m the proud owner of a landline (how archaic I hear you gasp) and internet. And wouldn’t you know it, I got the tech who has a dirty sense of humour.

Long story short, my friend found a pulp fiction book called Nympho Librarian and it made her think of me (you know how I’m working on getting into grad school for Library Sciences of course…). I’ve had the book cover (which reads: “The prim miss took off more than her mask of respectability behind the stacks… with any man who asked”) as my desktop for so long I don’t even see it anymore. Apparently he enjoyed my literary selection because I’m now the proud owner of the “nympho-librarian” wireless network.

I’m still blushing like a vestal virgin at a bacchanal party.

At this point, I don’t care what you call it (although I do love a neighbour’s network name “Pretty Fly for a WiFi”). I have internet again! I can’t wait to get back into my blogging and my writing. With my desk soon to arrive on Saturday, there will no longer be any reason to not sit down and stay caught up on the blogs I follow and keep mine up to date.

A lot has been happening lately and there have been some spectacular developments this morning but I’ll save those for another post later tonight. There’s plenty to do between now and then.
